Mobile, Ala. (April 3, 2019) – With the year 2007 marking its “first,” Mobile-based Team Focus is pleased to celebrate twelve years of hosting its annual fundraiser event, “A Night with Nick Saban” on WEDNESDAY, MAY 8, 2019 at the Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel. The evening will include a silent auction featuring numerous signed sports memorabilia. Team Focus founder Mike Gottfried will speak and introduce key note speaker, Alabama Crimson Tide Head Coach Nick Saban.
Special guest, SCOTT HUNTER, will also participate in this popular event and be honored as the 2019 Champion of Life. Hunter is a local football legend, kick starting his football career at Vigor High School. He played college football at the University of Alabama, where he set numerous passing records under Coach Bear Bryant, followed by a professional career with the NFL. He is a former Television Sports Anchor and Color Analyst for CBS College Football and local Mobile, AL CBS affiliate.
“Our honoring of Scott Hunter is long overdue,” says Mike Gottfried. “We are recognizing him as a Champion of Life for all he has done in the community and for Alabama football.”
This annual event is the sole fundraiser for the non-profit Team Focus. It will begin with a silent auction at 5:45 p.m. Dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. Individual tickets are $100. A table for ten is $1,000. Sponsorships are available starting at $6,000.

Named Mobilian of the Year in 2010, Mike Gottfried drew from his own life experiences when he and his wife, Mickey, founded the faith-based Team Focus in 2000. He has over 13 years of experience as a college football head coach and has also served as a college football analyst for ESPN.
